BIOGRAPHY

Véronique Cloutier is a biologist and holds a ph. D. in Forest sciences. Ms. Cloutier was born in La Tuque and is now a researcher on mycophagous animals (fungi eating animals) and underground fungi such as truffles. Véronique is also a fellow at UQTR and Université Laval. She has lectured from Arizona to Rivière-du-Loup, and even Harvard. She is the research and development manager at Mycoterre and educates people on Quebec truffles through her mycotourism company, Druide Sylvestre. Her favourite hobbies include picking wild herbs, berries and mushrooms, fishing, hunting and trapping.
